We hope that you will find our website useful and enjoy searching through the various aspects of life in the parish of St Dunstan’s and St Jude’s.
At the heart of Parish life is The Celebration of Mass. The spiritual nourishment we receive from the Eucharist gives us the strength, not only for our own personal Journey of Faith but also to support others on their Journey of Faith.
We include a list of Parish Groups and activities showing how that support is being put into practice. It illustrates the great work being done within the Parish to carry out Christ’s will and demonstrate how we are real witnesses to our Christian faith. We have included details in relation to social activity as well as recreation as an important part of Parish life.
We hope this website will be used to show people what an active Parish community we have and importantly how parishioners can get involved in Parish life. Please use it and share its contents with friends and family.
If you wish any guidance on joining any of these groups please do not hesitate to speak with one of the priests, the deacon or the group leader.
History of the Parish of St Dunstan’s and St Judes
Until 2010 the the two parishes were separate but after Fr Frank Rowe retired from St Jude’s in late 2009 the parish was administered at first by Fr Christopher Fitzpatrick based at St Dunstan’s presbytery and now by Fr Philip Harrop.
